A New Website!

My new website is now live (yay!) and you can see it via www.SophieEllaFineArt.com. I built my first website as part of a Sixth Form project almost a year ago, so it was due a refresh. 

It’s got my new colour scheme (teal and lavender), an improved layout, plus the option to open a store to sell prints of my work. I hope you like it!

I’ve also moved platforms from WordPress to Squarespace. I’m not sure I can fairly compare the two as I was on a free WordPress plan before and I’m now paying for Squarespace one but (with a little help) I was able to build a professional looking website with the functionality I wanted. 

One of the reasons I moved was that I liked the look of their e-commerce stores and I’m looking forward to launching it soon. If you subscribe I’ll let you know when that is and what’s in it.        

Overall, I’m so happy with how my new website turned out and I would love to know what you think!

March 2023 Update: I've been working on SEO and backlink building for a while now (with a bit of help!) and am really excited to have got onto the first page of google for some Pet Portrait related searches (try googling “pet portrait prices”). Thank you to everyone who has helped me with advice and backlinks. Please help me say thankyou by checking them out from my pet services link page. There are some really great looking businesses there.
